Scotland is also the last stronghold of the endangered Scottish/European (Felis silvestris) wildcat. Several seal species are seen here as are humpback whales. Scotland’s diverse birdlife includes puffins, gulls, razorbills, gannets, kittiwakes, guillemots, oystercatchers, fulmars and the magnificent reintroduced sea eagles.
