The boutique hotel Cavo Tagoo, constructed in a historic quarry, is just minutes from Mykonos town, often known as Chora. We arrived by ferry and were met by a taxi driver. When you first walk into Cavo Tagoo, you’ll notice the hotel’s and its designers’ homage to the building’s former use: stony walls, massive doors made of wood and gold  completed by a beautiful minimalistic interior with Greek details, modern pieces of art, and white furniture as a contrast to the building’s massive, historic features.

Cavo Tagoo is without a doubt one of Mykonos most luxurious design hotels. One of those places where you don’t want to leave for the duration of your visit. Which is a nuisance, because you still have to explore Mykonos town’s charming alleyways and squares.
